Dear Mr. Kawasaki,
Previous conversation regarding proposed visit
It was a pleasure having you with us in May. During the meeting of the Asia and Pacific Council
for Science and Technology on May 15, I mentioned to you the possibility of the Dye Industry
Waste Minimization Group scheduling a technical visit to Japan. I also asked you to contact
dye manufacturers in Japan regarding our visit, and to arrange the Group's itinerary.
Purpose of visit and those making the visit I've provided some basic
information on the Visiting Group below:
1. Purpose: to evaluate successful cases and the current status of the Japanese dye industry with
respect to technology, equipment, and information on industrial waste minimization.
2. The group will be composed of officials from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, ROC, as well
as representatives from Taiwan's dye and finishing industries. The dye manufacturers the group
would like to visit include ABC Corporation, DEF Corporation, GHI Corporation, and other
leading companies that you might recommend."
Reminder on the scheduled visit Three months have passed
without any news from you regarding this technical visit. I would be most grateful if you could
advise us on the status of the visit so that we can begin making necessary arrangements.
Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.
Sincerely yours,
