Dear Dr. Brown,
Thank you for your fax dated July 19,1991. I was quite
disappointed to learn that you will be unable to receive
me as a visiting researcher. However, I will re-submit my
application in the near future in the hope that I can
have this opportunity. Please recall that my living
expenses as a visiting researcher would be entirely
supported by my organization, and would therefore not
require any financial assistance.
As our laboratory does not have much experience in the
primary pressure standard (PPS) of the mercury manometer,
could you please send us some technical reports or papers
regarding your laboratories work on the PPS of the mercury
manometer?
